Scottsdale Mustang Library Writers Group meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays
Something about the Arizona desert inspires creativity. Frank Lloyd Wright built here his famous Taliesin West. Every year in Tucson, one of the greatest book fairs in the USA takes place. More than 100,000 book lovers attend this event. Phoenix's First Friday galleries openings are always crowded. And the artist community is a vibrant conglomerate of painters, sculptors, musicians, photographers, writers and performers. Authors love and need to get together and read their work to appreciative and helpful colleagues, for encouragement as well as constructive critique. One such group of writers, with great diversity of backgrounds and literary interests, meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at the Mustang Library in Scottsdale. You are invited to come and read or observe. The readings start at 9 a.m. If you want to share your work with us, WELCOME. Bring 15 sets of double-spaced copies. Do not forget to wear your tough skin.
